Frigid Arctic air that's already caused snow and ice storms in the Midwest and at least 11 deaths is heading our direction, and will have solidly set in around here by the middle of the week; Code Blue Emergency has been declared in Upper Bucks for tonight, Dec. 7, as well as for the evenings of Dec. 10, 11, and 12 (Tuesday through Thursday, when the low temps are slated to be 20, 17, and 18 degrees respectively). Volunteers, please check your schedules, prepare to be present and ready to go on those dates. If you can't serve on an evening in which you're scheduled, please let Les Rice know immediately (215.536.5166 or leslinrice@yahoo.com) so we can cover for you. We can't open our Code Blue shelter unless we have all volunteer positions for that evening filled and ready to go, so this is critical. The second annual community dinner is scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the Reigelsville Fire Station # 42 from 2:00PM until 6:00PM. Seatings are on the hour each hour.
