Rev. Samuel Thomas, Founder of The ELC Gambia West Africa
The Rev. Samuel Thomas will be the guest speaker at
Christ Lutheran Church, 353 E. Dark Hollow Road, Pipersville, PA 18947
on Sunday, May 15 at 7:00 PM.
He will be sharing information about ministries that include early childhood development (education), outreach programs (evangelism) and hospital ministry. A slide presentation will be shown. The Evangelical Lutheran Church in The Gambia (ELCTG) was founded in 1999 by Rev. Samuel Thomas. He is the driving force behind the establishment of Lutheran church schools in the smallest English speaking country in Africa and Rev. Thomas is anxious to spread the word on what is being accomplished in Gambia where the Christian population is only about 10%.
